The SLR’s 4 B-W class B steeplecabs were pretty much just run of the mill Baldwin steeplecabs that put in 36 years of uncomplaining service before the PV&T got around to putting up 3kvdc overhead and deenergising the third rail.
None of these motors were (immediately) preserved; they were all resold to some of the (few) remaining interurbans. 315 ended up on the Philadelphia & Western as a MOW locomotive that worked through the 1980s, and #317 went to the Atlantic Shore Line up in Maine, where it still operates (and is now back on the roster since the PV&T started maintaining the remaining ASL power from the Portland Shops.)
