A G.E. electric locomotive supplied to Chielan State Railways in the late forties. Its design ressemples the V8 locomotive of Companhia Paulista but they are not identical. This 221 ton loco has 1.676 m gauge and was fed by overhead wire, 3,000 volts D.C. As far as I know, they were scrapped in 1995, working at FEPASA - Ferrovias del Pacifico. Official photo of General Electric, shot in September 16, 1949; copy kindly sent by Marco Aurélio Gonçalves.
