The Francisco de Monlevade electric substation in Louveira, located in the first electrified line segment of the former Companhia Paulista, between Jundiaí and Campinas. Francisco de Monlevade and Jayme Cintra were the giants behind this legendary Brazilian railroad achievement. This photo shows this substation in November 1997; one can note that it seems abandoned.
