An E.M.D. G-16 and a DDM-45 diesel-eletric locomotives at the João Paulo station, at the km. 545 of the E.F. Vitória a Minas. This is the switching yards of the Cauê Mine of the Companhia Vale do Rio Doce - C.V.R.D. Normally the iron ore trains which are being formed are pulled by this odd pair of locomotives: the less powerful (G-16) helps the work horse (DDM-45) to arrive faster in the shipping place.
