The Cometa (Comet), diesel-propelled unit train, built by Sir Armstrong-Whitworth (England), in 1934. It is interesting to note that the diesel motor of that train (here seen in the first car of the composition) was severely damaged during the sixties, being then replaced by a Cooper-Bessemer motor with six cylinders (6-FD) identical to that used in the Lambreta switching locomotive.
