A photo of a passenger train using stainless steel Budd cars, shot in 1969 by Luiz Faria de Carvalho, from Marília, SP. He says, This photo was shot between Iperó and São Paulo. The train departed from Presidente Epitácio at 21:00 in the preceding day and was composed of first and second class Budd 800 cars, more a Sleeperette car, all of them with their air conditioned sets working well. In Presidente Prudente were connected sleeper and restaurant cars. The train started the trip being pulled by a diesel-electric locomotive, which was replaced by a G.E. electric locomotive, nicknamed Loba, with the original Sorocabana livery, in the Salto Grande station. The train arrived in São Paulo at 16:00 hours.
