When the 244-equipped locomotive fleet was purged, 376 was picked out of the deadline to be rebuilt into a road slug, with most of the doors & louvers sealed and enough ballast to bring it back up to 125 tons (by the simple expedient of sealing the 244 in & adding 30 tons of granite to the carbody.)
It is currently in operation in central Ontario on the OC/RLK/HC/ALSO railway group.
