PV&T B2r #270 in blue & white

When the PV&T started retiring all of their 244 equipped engines, the TdM shops asked if they could use one of the cab sections from one of the just-retired DL5s to rebuild one of the class Bs into a streamlined unit like B1r 219; B2 #270 was due for a major overhaul, so when it came out of service for that overhaul it was dropped off in Iberville, and one month later rolled out looking like what you see above (steam generator from DL7 #403, cab section from DL5 #390, metalwork by the TdM shops.)

This motor operated for about 50 years, but is now pinthed in front of the TdM shops complex in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
