These class 320s are actually from the original batch of E10Bs that GE built for the Niagara Junction Railway; they were purchased in 1980 after Conrail switched off the overhead and dieselised their new switching district.
They had some tweaks done to them after arriving on the property, most notably being rewired to run with trolley poles under 1500 vdc overhead, and updates to fit Transport Canada’s locomotive safety regulations, but still operate to this day (1075 & 1076 in H&B traction orange, even; none of the PV&T railroads embraced the policy of retaining local identity as enthusiastically as the handful of Canadian shortlines that make up the LT&L’s southwestern Ontario district.)
In 2010, #1077 was pulled from service, run through the Portland Shops to insulate the cab & replace the trolley poles with a pantograph, then transferred up to the New Brunswick Rail Road to operate on the – now isolated after the Minto line was abandoned – Chipman mill track.
